Takeley Park is a mobile home community for those aged 50+. I was shown around the grounds by the Park Manager Teena Ettrudge and Peter Hewett, Chairman of the Residents’ Association.
Whether retired, living alone or wanting opportunities to meet people, Takeley Park offers residents a thriving community they can be part of. I was particularly impressed with the social hub which puts on events for residents.
I met with a number of members of the Resident’s Association. We discussed several issues which affect people that live in mobile homes including pitch fee reviews, the cost to residents of having to use liquid petroleum gas, housing developments in Takeley and illegal traveller encampments.
I have taken on board all the concerns but and to let them know that many of these are already being reviewed by the Government.
