With campuses in nearby Chelmsford and Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin is the Saffron Walden constituency's 'local' university. I met with Vice Chancellor Iain Martin and Chairman Jerome Booth to discuss degree apprenticeships, bursaries, the new medical school and how I can support them with my work in Parliament. I was very impressed with the collaboration efforts with businesses and hospitals in the constituency. Many of you have written to me about NHS staffing levels. With the new medical school due to open this year, this will have a significant impact on the training of doctors and nurses which will benefit our local NHS services, Broomfield Hospital in particular.
