This is a worrying and challenging time for us all. The advice on coronavirus is changing day by day because of the fast-moving environment and I understand it is difficult to know what advice to follow when there is so much information out there.
Furthermore, I am receiving messages from constituents who are offering to help and others who want to know how they can help. It is good to see the community coming together in a desire to support one another, especially the elderly and vulnerable members of our community.
For both these reasons, I have put together a number of pages on my website with links to the most up to date information, guidance and advice in regards to Coronavirus (COVID-19), please click here to be directed.
The Local guidance page advises what is happening within the Uttlesford, Chelmsford and wider Essex area, and I will continue to update this page regularly with information on what support is avaliable locally.
The Government will be holding daily televised briefings on Coronavirus and I would encourage constituents to tune in or visit www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response
If you do have any individual concerns or if there is any local information you would like to see on my website or make me aware of, please do contact me via email at [email protected] or call my office on 0207 219 1943 and we will endeavour to sign post you to the relevant organisation for information.
