Local MP for the Saffron Walden constituency Kemi Badenoch attended an informal lunch attended by small business owners from across the Stansted area recently.
The lunch was organised The Stansted Business Forum, a network of local business committed to enhancing the economic vitality of Stansted Mountfitchet and the surrounding area. The forum plays a pivotal role in nurturing the local business community.
Mrs Badenoch was greeted by Chairman Peter James, and Treasurer Iris Evans, and the lunch provided an opportunity for local business leaders put forward questions and comments to their local MP who also serves as the Secretary of State for Business and Trade.
Mrs Badenoch and the forum members discussed a wide range of topics from entrepreneurialism in society, and the future of the high street, to business rates and council grants.
The forum has members from the restaurant sector, property, garage and automotive services, video production and many more.
