WeCare4Air, a leading innovator in sustainable air quality solutions hosted Kemi Badenoch, MP for the Saffron Walden constituency at their facility recently.
The visit provided an opportunity for Mrs Badenoch to gain insight into the critical role that WeCare4Air plays in addressing air quality challenges and contributing to a healthier environment.
Headquartered in Leaden Roding, the business has made significant strides in pioneering sustainable technologies and solutions to combat air pollution and improve overall air quality.
During the visit, Mrs Badenoch was given a tour of WeCare4Air's facilities, which included presentations and demonstrations of innovative air quality monitoring and purification systems. This year WeCare4Air was awarded a £50k share of the Government’s £2 million Transport Research Innovation Grant for their work. The grant funds proof-of-concept projects that seek to enhance people’s daily lives and support growth across the UK.
Mrs Badenoch expressed her appreciation for the work being done by WeCare4Air and their dedication to addressing the pressing issue of air quality in the country and emphasised the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors to develop and implement effective solutions to combat air pollution.
With the India-Pacific region WeCare4Air’s largest market, founder Vanessa Ambler expressed the business’ excitement at the Government’s recent accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), which Mrs Badenoch completed in her role as Secretary of State for Business and Trade.
