Kemi Badenoch MP's 'Apprentice of the Year' 2023

I am calling on local businesses looking to celebrate their apprentices who have gone above and beyond by nominating them for the title of the Saffron Walden constituency 'Apprentice of the Year 2023'.

National Apprenticeship Week (6th-12th February) brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

This year’s theme for the week is Skills for Life; reflecting on how apprenticeships are a fantastic way to learn new skills whilst working and earning money.

How can I nominate my apprentice?

To nominate an apprentice, employers should send a summary, of no more than 150 words, explaining why their chosen apprentice deserves to be named the Saffron Walden constituency's 'Apprentice of the Year'. Larger businesses should feel free to nominate more than one apprentice.

If possible, please include a few lines, of no more than 100 words from the apprentice you are nominating. I am particularly interested to hear about what they feel they have gained from their apprenticeship and why they would recommend an apprenticeship to other young people or adults in our constituency.

Please send nominations to [email protected], using the subject ‘Apprentice of the Year nomination’.

The deadline is midday on Friday 10th February 2023.

Nominated apprentices must either live or work in the Saffron Walden constituency, so please include an address. A full map can be found here: www.kemibadenoch.org.uk

The winner will be announced on Monday 13th February and will receive a certificate and an invitation to meet Kemi in Parliament.

I look forward to reading all the nominations!
