Following the very low water pressure experienced by residents in and around Felsted over Summer, Kemi Badenoch MP organised a public meeting with Affinity Water to discuss the issues.
Affinity Water had the opportunity to share their improvement plans for the area, specifically to tackle the low pressures and residents were able to raise queries and concerns.
Since July, adjustments have been made to the network to improve the pressure, and Mrs Badenoch welcomed Affinity's commitment to visiting Bannister Green where residents have been experiencing persistent issues.
Commenting Mrs Badenoch said:
"I was also pleased to hear that work has been carried out at the Dunmow Pumping Station to improve its resilience and reliability, with further work to be completed by April next year in readiness for the high water demands of the Summer.
"This public meeting was an opportunity for residents to raise their concerns directly with Affinity Water and I will continue to correspond with them on this issue until it is resolved."
