Local MP Kemi Badenoch has announced the winner of her Christmas card competition this year is Rory, age 8 from Clavering Primary School.
Rory’s winning picture included reindeers, snow, Christmas trees, twinkly lights and even Santa himself.
His design will feature on Mrs Badenoch’s e-Christmas card this year as well as in her monthly newsletter to residents across the constituency.
This year’s runners up were Daryna, who is staying with a family in the constituency as part of the Homes for Ukraine scheme and Lilie from The Christian School in Takeley.
Commenting, Mrs Badenoch said:
“I received hundreds of marvellous and creative entries from children across the constituency and would like to thank and say well done to all those who took part. I had entries from Wimbish primary school to Magna Carta in Stansted, all the way down to Newhall School in Chelmsford.
“Congratulations to Rory whose impressive drawing was full of everything we all love about Christmas.
“If residents want to have a sneak peak of some of the entries, I have showcased a selection on my Saffron Walden office window, with more up on my website.”
