Kemi Badenoch, MP for the Saffron Walden constituency, has launched an award to recognise those who go above and beyond for their community.
Mrs Badenoch is calling on residents across Chelmsford and Uttlesford to nominate someone who has made a difference locally to give them the recognition they deserve.
Anyone who either lives or works in the constituency can be nominated, for any contribution, big or small. This could be in a variety of ways, such as helping someone who is lonely, shopping for someone who is unable to, setting up local initiatives, litter picking or volunteering for charity.
The intention is to share some of the amazing contributions made to our communities across the constituency. So, if you know someone who you wish to nominate, please do so by visiting: www.kemibadenoch.org.uk/kemi-badenoch-mps-community-champions
Commenting, Mrs Badenoch said:
“Since becoming MP for the Saffron Walden constituency, I have met so many local people doing great things for our local communities.
“I hope that by launching this award, I can help to recognise some of their fantastic work and the difference they have made to our communities.”
