I had the pleasure of presenting cheques worth £2,000 each to Deborah Whiteley at Tom's Trust and Sophie Durlacher at Uttlesford Foodbank last Friday. These were awarded in recognition of their outstanding community service by Saffron Walden Lions Club, who reach their 25th year.
