Aston Barclay Motor Auctions welcomed me to their premises near Chelmsford last week to show off their facilities and teach me a bit more about how their business works! We had a useful discussion on issues affecting their company such as mileage clocking, and what I can do in Parliament to help. This practice has a severe impact on the safety of the vehicles on our roads, so I will look into what can be done to police the problem better and whether the system needs updating to bring the UK in line with other western countries.
