Incredibly valuable meeting with local farmers and NFU representatives the other night to discuss the issues affecting the industry in the Saffron Walden constituency and their vision for productive and profitable agricultural and horticultural sectors in the future. An array of topics were on the agenda from Brexit and crop protection, to farm standards, R&D and rural crime. Huge thanks to all those that came; if elected on June 8 I look forward to learning more and doing all I can to be a friend to farmers.
