At the heart of the constituency is our farming community. I have;
- Supported legislation to deter hare coursing
- Worked with Essex Police to implement local initiatives to tackle rural crime
- Hosted events and roundtables with the National Farmers Union, Rural Payments Agency and farmers to discuss the impact of Government policy on the farming community
- Backed the Government's new package of support to farming businesses, improve food security and protect the British agricultural sector
